Embeddable fuel price charts
Four charts built from live UK pump prices, free to use on any site. Copy one line of HTML and the chart stays current on its own - there is nothing to update and no sign-up.
How it works
Each chart is a self-contained page you drop into your own with an iframe. It brings no scripts, no cookies and no trackers with it, so it will not slow your page down or affect your Core Web Vitals beyond the frame itself. The charts are drawn on our server as plain SVG, which means they still appear for readers who block JavaScript.
Prices come from the Competition and Markets Authority open data scheme, which requires fuel retailers to publish what they are charging and keep it current. We refresh from that feed every five minutes. The historical series uses weekly national averages, and each chart shows its own last-updated time so you can see exactly how fresh the figures are.
Use is free for editorial and commercial sites alike. We ask only that you leave the findpetrol.co.uk credit and the source link in place, which the charts include automatically.

Questions
Do I need permission?
No. Take the code and publish it. If you are writing about fuel prices and want a figure checked or a chart cut a particular way, get in touch and we will help.
Will the numbers change after I publish?
Yes, and that is the point. The chart reads live data every time someone loads your page, so it will not go stale. If you need a figure frozen for a specific date, quote it in your text as well and cite the date shown on the chart.
Where do the prices come from?
The CMA open data scheme, which obliges fuel retailers to publish their current prices. We read every participating retailer's feed, discard readings that fall outside a plausible range or have gone stale, and average what is left. The historical chart uses weekly UK national averages.
Why is there no motorway services chart?
Because we cannot prove which sites are motorway service areas. The CMA scheme does not cover the main operators, so the only way to identify them would be guessing from address text, and that guess is wrong often enough that we will not put our name on it. The supermarket comparison uses the brand field, where every site lands in one group or the other with no inference at all.
